Nikujyaga

"Nikujyaga" means "meat (niku) and potato (jyagaimo)." 

The ingredients are similar to a stew, but with Japanese seasonings. When you eat it, you will surely want rice to eat with...!!


Ingredients
(for 4 people)

Sliced pork400g
Potatoes
approx.500g
Carrots
approx.300g
Onion

Water
400ml
Sugar
40g
Soy sauce
60ml
Sake (cooking sake)
approx.45ml

1. Cut ingredients into pieces (please refer to pictures below( •̀ ω •́ )✧)

2. Cook sliced pork (it doesn't need to be perfectly cooked, but make sure they are separated)

3. Put potatoes, carrots and onions

4. Put the other ingredients

5. Cut a piece of parchment paper into circle and make holes. 

6. Drop it directly on the food to cover it entirely. It will help to impregnate taste to vegetables! 

7. Cook with low heat for 20-30 minutes with the paper you put in step 6

8. When vegetables get soft, it's ready to serve :)
