Do public transportations in Japan arrive exactly on time?

When you visit Japan, you will be surprised how accurate public transportation is. For example, the train is the most accurate transportation in Japan. It is controlled in seconds, so it arrives exactly on time. When you use public transportation in Japan, you should take your time because rushing into a train is dangerous.
Colourful station
Do the trains in your country use many colours for each line? As you can see in the picture below, Japanese trains use a lot of colours to make it clear which train is on which line. This is because trains are well developed, especially in urban areas.

Four manners that you should be careful of in Japan
Here are some rules that you should be careful of in Japan.
1. Be careful to remove your shoes
2. Don't tip the waiter
3. Don't speak loud in public spaces
4. Say "thank you" and "excuse me"
1. Be careful to remove your shoes
This is a tradition of Japan. If you go to someone's house or a Japanese style hotel, you need to take your shoes off. If you don't do so, other people feel uncomfortable.
2. Don't tip the waiter
It might be unusual for some of you, but you don't need to give tips to waiters, because they receive enough money as a wage. They might run after you to bring your money back if you leave tips.
3. Don't speak loud in public spaces
Japanese people find it unusual to talk loud in public spaces. This is because they are considerate about other people. If you use public transportation, you shouldn't call with someone because it might be noisy for others. Also, in public spaces, you shouldn't speak in a loud voice for the same reason.
4. Say "thank you" and "excuse me"
This is not a mannerism that is special to Japan, but this is important because if you do so, other people will feel more comfortable. Especially, excuse me (sumimasenn, すみません) is important for foreign travellers because this is used in a lot of situations and by using this phrase, people will know you are going to talk with them.
